Most Common Question...How Long Does it Take?   
We can get an order ready in just a few hours... but ideally you give us 24hrs before pick up.  Regular shipping can be 3-9 days in Canada. (more in the USA) But we have lots of rush options to choose from.

Rush shipping options are listed when you checkout as we will need your address. Call us directly for more information.

Can I pick up my order?     YES!

Pick up is one of the shipping options at checkout.  Our store address & map can be found on our contact us/about us pages.

Where & How is my package shipped?
Standard Shipping is just 11.99  by Canada Post for deliveries to Canada.  Us regular shipping is 15.00
* some weight exceptions with heavy book items
Canada – 5-10 business days
USA – 5-14 business days

Please note additional shipping charges may apply when shipping to extreme remote destinations. We will contact you by phone after you place your order if this is case and you will be quoted on costs.

Is there Faster Shipping?    YES!
At check out you will be giving fast shipping options and prices.  We use CanPar in Canada or local courier if in Toronto.

How quickly can they be ready and when are orders shipped?
Orders are shipped every week day before noon (EST).  We get your loots ready quickly - and if picking up we can often get them ready the same or next day.  Please let us know in the comments section if needing RUSH.

Day 1 of shipping begins the next day following order placement. Please note that should an item not be in stock at time of order, shipping time will begin only once your credit card has been charged (or when we have the item in stock). Approximately 95% of what is listed is in stock.

Toy Safety & Age Appropriate Toys
We do our best to create an attractive loot bag that has some lasting play value and some immediate fun as well as using some age guidelines for play.  However, each child is unique and may be ready for different toys at different ages.  Some items are for decoration only. (for example we put a lollipop in the top of every bag including the infant.. but it is really for decoration or perhaps for the mom or dad to snack on) It is always up to the parent to decide on safety and appropriateness of toy items.  Any children under 3 must be supervised at all times with any toy items.

Questions about recalls?
Safety is our priority. We make sure to read every recall list and remove any toy that has been listed. (Currently no toy that we have put out for sale has been on any recall list.) If you have questions or concerns, please feel free to call us directly. We are happy to help.

Wondering about Candy?
We include one candy (on average) and one sucker in the top, so that kids have something to grab right away - and don't need to open their loot bag until Mom or Dad is ready. If you don't want any candy let us know. If you want kosher candy... we have it too.  *infant & some toddler loot bags do not contain candy other than the lollipop in the top

Toy/Products Availability Questions?
We have great licensed products that we get at close out prices. This way they are affordable for loot bags but quantities are limited and it's first come first served. Call ahead for large quantities. If you see something you like... order it ahead of time. Our items change regularly.
Looking for something special? We are happy to shop & source for large orders or corporate parties. Just tell us what you are looking for!

What's in the bag? Is what's on line.. accurate?
Yes.. we make up the loot bags here at our main store and then I take the photo with my handy digital camera. If we run out of a main toy item.. we will let you know ahead of time. Sometimes we need to make substitutions (of the smaller toys & candy) but we always upgrade so that it's fabulous

How do I track my order?

Most times you will be provided with a tracking number, when in Toronto we use a courier and if you like, we can also send you a tracking number.

Do you buy back extra loot bags?  What is your return policy?
At lootlady.com we can easily accept returns on unopened loot bags. Conditions apply - must be within 30 days of purchase and in good condition. (no rips or dirt )  Simply pack the item(s) in their original packaging with the original invoice and send to the address below  in person by appointment. (return shipping will be the responsibility of the sender)

Once received you will be notified by e-mail when we’ve processed your refund. Returns may take place within 30 days of delivery of a shipment for any reason for a full refund. Shipping charges will only be refunded if the return is a result of our error.

We cannot accept returns of opened items (unless defective) or items returned more than 30 days after delivery. 

What about Duty Charges & Taxes to the US?
If your total order does not exceed $200, you will not be charged any duties (US orders only). Otherwise, it is your responsibility to pay any fees. 

What about Canadian Taxes?
In Ontario you will be charge HST, in Canada GST plus any provincial taxes as required by Canadian Taxation law.  There is no duty to orders in Canada.

What about international shipping?

International customers are welcomed but UPS shipping charges will be applied. You are also responsible for any import or customs fees charged by your government in addition to the shipping fees shown below. We are unable to predict which shipments will be assessed these fees or the amount of the fee that might be charged.

Is my financial information Safe?
We use the industry standard encryption protocol known as Secure Socket Layer (SSL) to keep your order information secure. Should any unauthorized charges appear on your credit card as a result of shopping with lootlady.com, you must notify your credit card provider in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures.

We will cover the liability of purchases made through this web site only if the unauthorized use of your credit card resulted through no fault of your own.

What if some items are out of stock?
We do our best to keep everything in stock at all times and post low quantity items. If you are looking for large quantities of any order, please feel free to call us directly and we can assist you.
If something is on back order or we do not have sufficient quantity to fill your complete order, we will hold your order until everything is available and will ship it to you at one time. You will receive e-mail if an item you ordered is out of stock, and you can always check the status of your order on out web site.
